Jim Swartz is Vice President and Southeast Managing Partner at Tatum, by Randstad where he helps CEO’s, COO’s CIO’s, CFO’s, CHRO’s, CMO’s VP’s, and Directors of U.S. companies to transform, stabilize and optimize their organizations. Jim is based in Atlanta, Georgia and is a leader of the Interim, Project and Executive Search practices of Tatum.
He has many years of strategy, financial and operational consulting experience, including in particular many years in and around the community banking industry. Throughout his career before Tatum he led or co-led, as principal, a wide variety of commercial financing transactions, including all sorts of borrowing, and including certain workouts. While at Peat, Marwick, Mitchell (the predecessor of KPMG) he audited banks and savings and loan associations.
Jim brings extensive experience as CFO, COO, CEO and Board member of publicly traded, private equity backed, and closely held companies. He is a CPA; he has a BBA in Accounting from Georgia State University; and extensive applied graduate study in Organizational Behavior and Industrial Psychology at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.
