Dave Etter, Managing Director of Loan Review Services for Sheshunoff Consulting + Solutions, has over 30 years of experience in financial services. Over this time, he has held credit and lending senior management positions with community, regional and large banks. His experience includes serving as president of a commercial bank which specialized in government guaranteed lending and was a subsidiary of one the world’s largest companies. He has also served as chief credit officer of a large community bank.
Other roles have included management of commercial loan workout departments, management of commercial lending teams, and the management of underwriting departments. He also has experience in small and mid-market commercial lending, commercial real estate, SBA lending, commercial finance, leasing and international trade finance. In a recent role, he was responsible for the credit related issues on six small business commercial loan securitizations including liaison with the rating agencies.
In his current role as Managing Director, Dave works extensively with clients on ALLL methodologies, regulatory issues, stress testing of commercial loan portfolios and due diligence activities, in addition to managing the delivery of loan review services for the firm. He holds a bachelor of science in finance with a concentration in accounting from the University of Connecticut.
