Jerry Warrick

Jerry focuses on technology related planning, including strategic planning, risk, business continuity, security and organizational analysis, among other areas for financial institutions. Jerry focuses on serving as a virtual chief information officer in financial institutions, sizing from $100 million to greater than $5 billion.

Jerry’s financial institution experience came firsthand while holding key information technology (IT), operations and risk positions within a $1.1 billion bank. Jerry led the merger of seven individually chartered banks, which included a core and internet banking software change. The merger led to changes in the organizational structure in which identifying and implementing newly created positions to help support today’s technology and industry channels were necessary.

Jerry also served as a board member for the bank and SHAZAM Network, as well as the enterprise risk committee chair. This allowed Jerry the complete oversight of a financial institution and currently allows him to manage a complete IT outsourcing model for RSM is implemented across the Midwest.

Due to the highly regulated financial institution environment and Jerry’s oversight of IT, operations and risk, he participated in a variety of hardware, software, and operating environment audits. The audits covered operations controls, systems development and documentation controls, hardware and systems controls, segregation of duties, user access controls, data and procedural controls, policies, physical security, communications security, application, and processing controls. With this experience, Jerry has assisted many financial institutions with regulatory-related items, governance process implementation and regulatory remediation.
